About Joining New Earth Village
Do I have to be indigenous to join New Earth Village?
No. We believe inclusive conversations are richer, bridge cultural divides and generate better ideas faster. Everyone is welcome.
Do I have to be a member?
No. Guests are welcome to fully explore New Earth Village. However, if you wish to interact with New Earth Village members or use New Earth Village resources, you must join New Earth Village. Why not join now? It’s free and just takes a minute.
Do I need to be a member to get New Earth Village training?
Maybe. Often, only the person who organizes the training in your community needs to be a member in order to access the course material. However, if your course requires you to communicate with other New Earth village members using The Four Realms, then yes, you must become a member.
Do I have to sign an agreement to join New Earth Village?
There is nothing to sign. But by joining, you agree to terms laid out on the 'Join' webpage. Briefly, we ask you to respect others and assume full responsibility for actions you take based on information received at New Earth Village.
I'm fifteen. Can I join New Earth Village?
Sorry. You must be sixteen to join. But please join us next year. We value a youth perspective greatly. In the meantime, be our guest or arrange for someone sixteen or older in your community to join and TalkWalk a course for you and your friends.
Can communities be members?
No. Only individuals. So, for example, if you wanted to create a wiki with a group of people from your community, each one must join New Earth Village and log in.
How do I withdraw my membership?
Send us an email requesting withdrawal and we'll remove your name from the membership list and stop all communications.
