Why Rogues to Royals

The purpose of Rogues to Royals is to bring the Bruce Family Tree to life through stories and through descriptions of the times in which our ancestors lived. Every past generation faced formidable challenges, individually and collectively. From some of their stories we might draw valuable lessons. From others, we might simply acknowledge that little has changed — a thousand years on we still worry about money, rejoice with friends, battle our demons and fuss about the habits of our teen.

Stories rekindle our passions and remind us of the stuff that makes us human, the stuff that keeps us human. That really is what Rogues to Royals is about. From the looking glass of our roots, we see ourselves a tad more clearly.
