The Bruce Family Tree

The Value of a Family Tree

Alone, dry descriptions of birth, marriage and death statistics — the stuff of family trees — tell us little about our ancestors lives. On the other hand, telling tales and painting word pictures of the times without placing one’s folks into the context of a family tree is not very helpful either. We need the tree to know how we all fit together, to make sense of the whole.

Thus, it is the family tree together with descriptions of the times and stories of people that create the magical walk across the sands of time — the goal of this site. And so, I encourage relatives to visit the Bruce Family Tree.

To See The Tree

To access the Bruce Family Tree, do one of the following:

  • If you are a member of Ancestry.ca you can search for and access the Bruce Family Tree (a public tree) under that name or under my username ‘peterbruce182’
  • If you are not a member of Ancestry.ca, please contact me and I will send you an invitation (link) to the tree by email
  • Once you are in the tree, look for the search box in the upper right hand corner of the screen entitled ‘Find a Person’ and type in your name. If there is no result, you are not in the tree.

If You Are Not in the Tree

If you and your folks are not in the tree but would like to be, or if information about your family or branch is incomplete or incorrect, let me know and I will work with you to fill in the missing information. Enjoy.
